• Preparation: Locate the ideal spot for your shelf, utilizing the horizontal grout joints in your tiled wall. Mark the wall at 2 ½” and 6 ½” on both sides, creating four points. Next, indicate the shelf’s outer edge by marking 8 ¾” from the inside corners. For walls without grout joints, use a level line and an angle grinder with a diamond blade for prep work.
• Grout Removal: Wearing safety glasses and a dust mask, carefully remove grout to a depth of approximately ½” and a width of 3”. A grout saw, oscillating power tool, or angle grinder can be used. After grout removal, thoroughly clean the area with a vacuum and a damp sponge or rag.
• Adhesive Application: Protect porous tiles with blue painter’s tape. Moisten the anchoring plates and the channels in both the wall and the shelf. To finish adhesion, apply a small amount of glue to both sides of each anchoring plate.
• Shelf Placement: With a steady hand, apply a generous bead of glue into the channels on the underside of your GoShelf. Carefully line up the anchoring plates with the corresponding slots you’ve created in the wall. Then, gently but firmly slide the shelf into its designated spot, making sure it nestles snugly against both walls of the corner. 
• Finishing Touches: Once the glue is dry, after about 2-3 hours, remove any excess with a razor knife; then, clean the tiles and shelf. Apply matching grout or caulking where the shelf meets the wall for a polished finish.
